A shoe house, not a shoe brand
John White has been putting men in good shoes since 1919, from Higham Ferrers in Northamptonshire. We design the lasts, choose the leather and set the specification, then work with the makers who can hold it. The name has been on the box for over a hundred years, which is a long time to keep getting it wrong.
Leather, top to bottom
Look inside a cheap shoe and you find fabric. Look inside ours and you find a full leather lining and a removable leather insole, because leather moulds to your foot and fabric does not. Polished calf uppers, clean stitching, and a sole chosen for the weather the shoe is meant for.
